RAISED TO RAISE OUR COMMUNITY UP
John earned an A.B. in Politics from Occidental College in Los Angeles. While at Occidental, John was a starting tight end and offensive lineman on the NCAA-affiliated football team, a member of the Occidental Rugby Club, and served as the President of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. John attended law school at George Mason University where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and the Trial Advocacy Team.
After graduating cum laude from George Mason, John started his career working as a lawyer in Leesburg and immediately looked for other ways to serve the community. As an Adjunct Professor, John helped re-start the George Mason University Law and Mental Illness Clinic to provide pro bono legal representation to the families of mentally ill individuals needing psychiatric treatment. Today, John regularly represents children with disabilities in special education cases in Virginia.
